  • The Panic Division (ffo Mute Math, Codeseven)

Hopefully they still have a few fans here from the time they toured with dredg...

New Panic CD reportedly comes out in December. I managed to snag a early demo from it, and the band is still tight as ever.

    Check it:

Didn't they lose a singer or something? I dug them when they opened on that Strata/Kaddisfly tour.

Re: The Panic Division (ffo Mute Math, Codeseven)

The backing band has changed a few times in the last few years but Colton Holiday has always been the vocalist. Guitarist Daniel Stanush left in 2007 to start A.M. Architect. as did keyboardist/programmer Diego Chavez. The band hasn't really changed musically despite this.

As for their discography, they have two albums and an EP under the TPD moniker: 2005's Versus, 2007's Songs from The Glasshouse and 2009's Sleepwalker EP, which was a digital-only release.

If you want to go deeper than that, pre-Versus the band was called Carbon 12 Theory and released two albums under the moniker: 2002's Carbon 12 Theory and 2003's 20 Years Unfold. 20 Years Unfold has a lot of songs that ended up on Versus, and a few other decent tracks. I managed to get copies of these CD's last year, good stuff.

Sure. Just give me a few days. Until I'm back at Uni later this month, I'm on a shit connection.

                      Here we go:

                      Carbon 12 Theory Demo (2002)

                      20 Years Unfold (2003):

Be sure to peep the info I included in the rar's for a little backstory on these albums.

Oh, and the fact that "Arcadia" off 20 Years Unfold was never re-recorded is an absolute goddamned travesty.

Nice, I checked out A.M. Architect too and it's sounding pretty good. Thanks again.

No problem. At first, I didn't like A.M., but it's grown on me as one of those instrumental albums you throw on while working on other stuff. I guess the genre you would classify it as "Chillwave"? eh stupid made up genres.

Anyway, it reminds me of bands like Washed Out and Neon Indian.

Colton posted a new song, tis awesome:

MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.
