In my experience, they don't use as much ice as we do. In other words, they don't fill the entire glass with ice cubes before they put the liquid in. But they do put 3-4 cubes in the glass.

In my experience ice does not exist in Europe. Only McDonald's puts ice in the cup. It is not sold in stores, there are no ice machines in hotels, and waiters look at you blankly when you ask for it.

That's because it's normally cold over here, so you don't need ice.

Subway do ice, same with any fast food place. So do pubs, but they melt quickly, so you seldom see their existence. Ice and slice. Classic.
