There's a song on one of those called Discrete Mathematics... I loved that class.

i was hesitant to put yndi halda on it due to its length. i am glad you enjoyed it! maybe i will make another one in the near future. but, really, the silent ballet compilations should suffice. however, even those pretentious jerks do not get all the good bands.

            particularly the Max Richter song.

I love those Deadsy covers. They also did "Friends" on the Random Gary Numan cover album, which was brilliant.

I'm kinda torn on posting this hip hop mix I did. It's pretty narrow in scope which I guess makes sense because I don't listen to a lot of hip hop. Besides one Saul Williams and a few MC Lars tracks it's all twin cities based. To post or not to post.

Post. I'm interested in the MC Lars, unless you post the 2 or 3 songs I know.

                    Plus, what's there to lose?

Thanks Ars. It's a little heavy on certain people/bands but oh well. If anyone is curious about checking out other stuff all of these people could have easily had tracks on this comp. There's also a decent "Twin Cities Hip Hop" wiki article.

Brother Ali, Heiruspecs (full band, check em out), I Self Devine, Oddjobs (pre-Kill the Vultures '96-'03), Los Nativos, Micranots (Slug + I Self Devine), Toki Wright, Carnage The Executioner, Kristoff Krane (Chris from Abzorbr/Face Candy), Enemy Entropist, Cadaver, Ecid, Sector 7G, Prom King Stigmata, Maria Isa, Desdamona, Ill Chemistry (Desdamona + Carnage), Black Blondie and The Usual Suspects.
