So I nailed it with the influence on Woven?? So am I officially in the 21st century now? :-)

Ok, this makes me love you. You just put into words how I've felt this past year. This is how I felt when I discovered Ours, and then dredg, and then this board. Like Sam leaving the Shire. Can I plagiarize this?

I have an extensive taste in music that radio fails to satisfy... so every few weeks I burn a mix CD that I listen to from start to finish with my fellow music geek friends. One day I'd love to force mass groups to listen to music of my choosing... but until then-

I didn't split the tracks up. The idea is that it's meant to be listened to as one continuous mix. I did ask if people wanted them split up and no one replied (or i'm being an lout and missed it). I think i shall have to do that in the future to save further confusion.

I'll probably do a proper, full blow with everything improv end of May/June (to celebrate the end of my course).

i think iTunes does it automatically...not sure though. It's not a problem though, only a couple tracks are wma. I just uploaded those CDs a while back when I had no clue about audio data, etc etc.

                          For now, enjoy this...

Your mix is fantastic, jsbedlam. Thank you so much. I'd only heard "packt like sardines" and "now that you're home," so this is a real treat. Oh! and "possum kingdom," but I didn't know what it was until it started. Gosh, that brought back memories.

This was my first exposure to Elbow, The National, Telescreen, Band of Horses, Failure, and Broken Social Scene.

The only music by Queens and Raconteurs that I've ever heard was what was on MTV2.

So thank you again! I like every song on this mix, and I really, really enjoy Wintersleep, Band of Horses, and Elbow.
