We haven't had a poll in a while, and it's actually a serious inquiry... personally, I think the Hyde Street version is much better. It has a much better approach to the song and it's got this sad haunting feel as opposed to Connect Sets more full sound and more poppy approach... so yeah... that's what I think...

i wonder if they ever did any other songs when they recorded the hyde street.
that reminds me, at some point i'm going to post the audio from the instore performance on my site for people to download. gavin sang the songs a bit differently in some places...nothing like "holy crap that's a new song" but just hit different notes and trailed some words differently.

I just listened to the two, and it confirmed my feeling that the Hyde Street version is better. I agree with Gnomad about it being less pop-oriented. It also seems a little more raw, and gives a sharper sound. Granted, my Sony Connect version is cut short at 2:07. Hey all,
i've found in error in my dredg collection due to this post....i thought the hyde street bug eyes was the only accoustic version out there, so i have the Hyde street accoustic bug eyes, and then i have the other two songs from the sonny accoustic set. So, as you can see i'm confused. Can someone remind me where these two accostic sets came from and what i might be missing?Comment
