  • first tattoo = first dredg tattoo

so i recently turned 19 on friday.. and my gift to myself was a dredg tattoo:

yeah its all edited all fancy like and what not but it gets the point across..

the place where i got it done, all the guys that work there are dredg fans so they blared dredg Live At The Fillmore for me.
after Eric put the stencil on, this other guy put on dredg and goes "this is just for you" and i felt real special.

    i love it.

              Added after 1 minutes:

though sounds like a great first tat' experience. i've toyed with the idea of a tattoo but i dont think i want anything as of yet. it's gotta be one of those deep tattoos and one that doesnt look like shit 2 days later no matter what you do to keep it from fading and whatnot. it has to be epic haha plus im an artist and shit so it's gotta be done well!

i'm getting my first one tomorrow, at first it was dredg inspired but then it turned into something more personal.  i'm so excited/nervous, it's going to hurt like hell!
i was looking down at you smiling up at me....

it actually didn't hurt that much. it was more of a buzzing feeling.. when he went around the edges to clean it up, that stung a bit.
and then it killed the next day.. it was just sore and stuff.
i guess it depends where you get it. mine was right on some nerves and veins so it kind of irritated that area.. but i mean getting one on your arm.. like the top side of your arm/bicep area is a perfect place to get your first tattoo because there's a lot of cushion.
and getting one right on the bone fucking kills.
the thing you have to understand is that a tattoo IS a wound. so its going to react like a wound.
dont pick at it, dont scratch it, and keep it out of the sun.. keep it moisturized with the A&D oitment and you should be fine.. also to help keep your tattoos from fading, put oil on them and they look like they were just done.. but no matter what, they won't stay as black as they were when you first got them.. thats just how it is.

                    the end.
this is your life and its ending one minute at a time.

Getting a tat is sort of like getting scratched by a cat over and over again.
