With the help of a few people on the board, this is a list of when the Catch Without Arms songs debuted with their alternate titles, if they had any, in parentheses.

Fall 2003: "Jamais Vu", "The Tanbark is Hot Lava"

Winter 2003: "Spitshine", "Planting Seeds" ("C-Shells"), "Uplifting" ("Uplifing News Channel")

Summer 2004: "Bug Eyes", "Ode to the Sun", "Not That Simple", "Hungover on a Tuesday"

Also, not sure when it debuted, but "Stationary Transient" was known as "4-5" on early live versions.

jamais vu and tanbark debuted in the fall of 2003.  spitshine, uplifting news channel, and planting seeds debuted on the winter tour with sleepytime.  bug eyes, ode to the sun, not that simple, and hungover on a tuesday were unveiled on the summer tour with hoobastank.

That's how it's listed on the imports I've seen in person.

Whether Gavin says it's a mistake, or not, that bit of info. is only official to diehards.

Officially, on imports, it's "Uplifting News".

It would just confuse people if you constantly told everyone, '"Uplifting News" is really "Uplifting News Channel" because Gavin said so!'

you're just adding 'channel' onto the title....it's not that different of a change.  i've heard it both ways and knew it was the same song, hopefully that wouldn't confuse too many people unless they are just plain dumb.   i can't imagine people would think they were two different songs.
